Freeway Park Community Kites, 2013-2016

LTDC is acting curator for Community Kites an annual public art installation for the Freeway Park Association. Kites are painted with local community groups and daily park users. Kites are then treated with a simple graphic on the back side, fit onto bamboo forms and wired to hang between light poles along the pedestrian right-of-way throughout the park. The result is a linear gallery of unique artists linked by a common theme and color palette.
