Equinox Art Park, 2013

Equinox Art Park was an installation for Park(ing) Day 2013, an international celebration of pedestrian culture where temporary pocket parks are constructed in parking spaces along our urban roadways in cities around the world. This project was designed with the spirit of both creative and physical play and included opportunities for printmaking, chalk drawing, reading and relaxing. The central feature, an oversized teeter totter made from reclaimed wood and a Douglas fir tree round, acted as the focal point of activity throughout the event.
